Have you ever come across something like “kids movie preferences?” We talk a lot about the movies and seasons for the adults, but so less about the kids or especially the early teenagers. Sometimes we must spend a productive time with our kids as well. It can be a form of entertainment by watching a good movie together – or going out on a trip for a picnic. However, kids will watch what they watch – like you cannot tell them to watch The Shawshank Redemption because that will do nothing but bore them. You might find them sleeping in the middle of the movie with their popcorn packs flipped over.
The good news is, we have a list of movies that you can watch with your kids that won’t bore either you or your kids. Isn’t it amazing? Well, it is.

Kids Movie Preference list to Watch for Both Kids and Adults
Kids Movie Preferences #1
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
Well, who doesn’t know about Beauty and the Beast? Almost all of us have read the stories in one of the books that we used to get as children. It is about the beautiful princess in a long yellow frock that we remember as Belle. She lives with the Beast as a ransom for his abducted father. However, they fell in love with each other, and very soon, Belle discovers him to be a miraculously handsome prince.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
It is about a spooky skeleton from the Halloween Town – Jack Skellington. Being bored with doing everything scary every year for the eternities, he decided to do something different. He accidentally happens to find distinctive doors leading to different holiday seasons. One entry particularly fascinates him that leads him to the Christmas Town that he instead finds very enchanting. However, his obsession leads him to abduct Santa Clause, which is a nightmare for the children.
Kids Movie Preferences #3
If I am not wrong – Harry Potter is the best ever series of novels that nobody can possibly hate. We have literally grown up wishing that someday we’d get a letter from Hogwarts calling upon the miraculous wizard or witch – but sadly, it never happened. The movie (initially a novel by J.K. Rowling) is a compelling depiction of Harry Potter and his friends – Hermoine and Ron. Their life at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy is a dream life anyone could ever imagine.
Kids Movie Preferences #4
Kubo and the Two Strings
It is a sort of movie that leaves a good lesson for us in the end. Kubo is the right figure to be a hero of so many children around. He is just like any ordinary boy living in a small village – until a spirit plays havoc in his life. It involves activating an old vendetta that attracts all the monsters to chase him. Kubo’s life suddenly turns upside down, and he embarks to locate an armor that once belonged to his late father, who happened to be a great Samurai warrior.
Kids Movie Preferences #5
The Princess Bride
The Princess Bride is a story that almost all the kids consider as a “love story.” The frame divides into two parts – one in which the grandfather narrates the story to the adolescent grandson and the other that shows the story as itself. The story shows how some bad men kidnap the girl – Buttercup, who is supposed to be the Prince’s princess bride. However, the girl doesn’t seem to be very happy with this idea.
Kids Movie Preferences #6
The Wizard of Oz
Wizard of Oz is also one of those movies that came as storybooks. It shows how Dorothy and her dog Toto miraculously escape a tornado that sweeps across Kansas. They reach the magical land of Oz and try to find the Wizard. During their journey from the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City – they find Scarecrow, Tin Man, and a Cowardly Lion. All of them need some help from the Wizard of Oz. However, he asks the group to bring him the broom of a Witch that resides in the West in return for which – he will help them.
What I find very pleasing in these shows is the fact that they always have a happy ending. We end up enjoying the story despite the animated characters and a not-so-real story. Moreover, the concern is to watch something that is not a nuisance for you or your little ones. The good news is – all of these are available on most of the streaming platforms. Thus, you can watch them online or download them as you want. Check out the spectrum internet prices – and suit yourself with the right package or call at +1-800-370-0251 to seek assistance.
